2018: The recommended medical tourism exhibitions in CIS countries for clinics to visit
As a lot of people ask us about the events and exhibitions to visit if you want to attract patients from Russia and CIS, so we have prepared a list of 2018 exhibitions with our comments. We haven't included any workshops in the list because they are held more often than exhibitions and the date is usually confirmed a month or two before. The other reason is that workshops are often specialized in a particular country or specialty. So if you are interested in the topic, contact us.

Expocentre Fairgrounds
The exhibition is held along with the largest Russian travel exhibition MITT which is well-known among the medical tourism agencies. If you want to find B2B partners among facilitating agencies then InterMed fits you well. The number of visitors is 6 349
16–17 March, Russia, Moscow
“Tishinka” exhibition centre
70% of the MedShow visitors are the customers and private persons so it is perfect for the clinics who want to attract more patients on their own. It will be a good idea to bring a doctor with you to give some consultations at once.
10–12 April, Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek
Arena of KSAPES
BIMTE takes place during the National Healthcare Week in Kyrgyzstan and is popular among the clinics from Asia, Turkey and from countries where there is a direct flight to Bishkek. The number of visitors is 4 329.
18–20 April, Kazakhstan, Almaty
“Atakent” IEC
The event suits well for Asian countries as well as for Turkey, for example. If you represent another country you still have a chance to attract patients. For those clinics, we recommend to book a booth and plan several face-to-face meetings with agencies. The number of visitors is 4 485.
25–27 April, Ukraine, Kyiv
EC “KyivExpoPlaza”
Ukraine holds two strong exhibitions at spring and at autumn. If you promote your company in Ukraine we recommend visiting both of them. Healthcare Travel Expo takes place during the International Medical Forum. The number of visitors is 12 120.

If you are interested in the medical tourism promotion in the Russian-speaking market and in Ukraine particularly then this exhibition is worth visiting. MTEC.KIEV will be held together with the “Public Health” and “Ukraine International Travel Market” (UITM) exhibitions. The number of visitors is 8 782.

This is a new specialized exhibition organized by Expocentre which takes place during the Russian Healthcare week. It is provided with a good business program for a B2B audience. Its visitors are the medical tourism agencies and doctors. The first MedTravelExpo was held in December 2017 and gathered together 95 participants from 14 countries. This event will be useful to clinics and sanatoriums from any country if you want to find new business partners. The number of visitors of Russian Healthcare Week is more than 21 000.
